Friendship Circle · Pacific Palisades
One Sunday in the kitchen. Fresh meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity — and a meaningful way to come together.
Why it matters
Individuals and families facing food insecurity need meals — and we all need more ways to come together. You want to help; it shouldn’t be hard to know where to start. And after the Palisades fire, that time together means more than ever.
We believe neighbors should take care of neighbors.
We’re here to help
We’ve felt that same pull to do something that matters. So the Friendship Kitchen — a Friendship Circle program — sets everything up for you: the recipes, the ingredients, the space. Forty volunteers of all ages and abilities cook side by side. You bring an hour and a half. We handle the rest.
How it works
Sign up online in a minute. Come on your own, with family, or with a group of up to 10. Seven Sundays, November through June.
Ninety minutes in the kitchen, side by side with neighbors of all ages and abilities. Everything is ready when you arrive.
Every meal you cook goes to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
What one Sunday changes
You’ll leave knowing exactly who you helped, with the feeling of a community coming together — one meal at a time. Without helping hands, those meals simply don’t get made.
